My wife purchased this for me as we live in the PNW and I do a lot of outdoor LARPing in the forest, and the rain is coming - I tested it out recently in a light rain and it's amazing. Kept me warm and dry, a little too warm as it's still summer, but I'm looking forward to late fall and winter LARP sessions! The inside is super soft, too, and I can easily use it as a blanket.

It is comfortable, warm and feels pretty resilient. My 90lbs dog has pulled on it while I'm wearing it and I'm genuinely surprised it didn't rip or puncture.

Love this waterproof ranger cloak. Lining is soft and warm. The outer layer reminds me of gortex material. Definitely worth the wait. The customer service is top notch. I will buy more from knightweave.

I bought 2 Waterproof Rangers (a Blue one for my brother & a Green one for me), and we absolutely love them. I "test drove" the cloak in a thunderstorm (because I enjoy watching the lightning) and I stayed completely dry (except my shoes, which were not covered by the cloak). This cloak also has some added features that the Original Rangers don't have (besides being Waterproof of course). These cloaks have 2 additional hooks below the original 2 clasps to prevent the cloak from opening in high winds (they are very small and it took a few days before I even noticed they were there). Also the hood has a wire around the brim, which prevents the hood from falling down and dripping rainwater in your face. I personally appreciate this feature, because I always struggled to keep the hood up on the Original Ranger.

Lastly I would just like to say that Knightweave has some of the best customer service of any company I've ever bought from. When these Waterproof cloaks first released, there were multiple delays. But Chris (the owner of Knightweave) made a personal video each time, being upfront and explaining why there was a delay. Not only did they add a free cloak to my order, but they were more than willing to help me make changes to my order (change sizes, add a scout/suncloak, etc.). I would highly recommend buying a cloak from Knightweave, not only for the quality cloak but also for the quality customer service.
