A blend of old world beauty and modern construction. unique seamwork—a technique developed by Knightweave’s production team that blends old-world craftsmanship with modern durability. This piece is then machine-stitched into the garment for lasting strength, ensuring a perfect balance of handcrafted detail and a construction that will last for years. Whether worn on city streets or in untamed landscapes, this duster is more than a simple outer layer—it’s a statement of purpose.

The Legacy of the Leather Duster
More than just outerwear, for centuries dusters served as a shield against the elements, for those who traveled through rugged landscapes and uncertain roads. In ages past, such a coat would have been a prized possession. Crafted from genuine leather, your piece is built for longevity and will grow more supple and develop its unique patina over time. Lighter than armor, but an effective layer of protection from small weapons and blades. Unlike fabric coats that fray and wear through the years, a well-made and cared for leather duster will endure. For those who moved between civilization and the untamed frontier, such a garment was an investment—one that would protect the wearer and their garments worn beneath the duster itself. Whether stepping through the shadow of woods, or braving the open plains, a coat like this was the mark of one who lived by their own means, relying on skill, instinct, and experience. This is not just a coat. It’s a statement of purpose—worn by those who walk paths few dare to tread.

It’s important to note that conditioning and waterproofing can slightly alter the color and finish of the leather—a natural part of the aging process that makes each piece unique to its wearer. Over time, the leather will develop a rich patina, reflecting the journeys and experiences of the one who wears it. Proper care ensures that your duster remains durable, resilient, and ready for whatever the road ahead brings.
This jacket is quite impressive. Attention to detail on the seams, lining, and material selection are as premium as it gets. I’ve been searching for something like this for years and never really found the right one, until now. As far as the size goes. I am 5’10” and 140lb. Lanky build. The small was a perfect fit. I kind of knew it would be because I actually prefer their cloaks in a small. I understand I am a smaller dude than most Americans. Like other mentioned, the upper arms are a little tight but after a few days of wear I don’t notice it at all. My only critique is within the collar. I’m always particular about collars and this one is a little bent. I would say that upon oversight of the Chinese factory I would have them be very careful to choose a good piece for the collar, so it’s nice and stiff, or maybe line the collar with another layer. A very small additional note… one more pocket on the inside would have been great. We always need tons of pockets lol. The outer pockets are the perfect length and location for a comfortable posture. Finally, I would love for Knightweave to make a shorter premium jacket for everyday use. Not like a motorcycle jacket, because those end up becoming mid difts, so it would need to slightly cover the butt, kind of like a winter coat. With a hidden internal zipper. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Love the work you guys do. The artistry is second to none.
If you are reading the reviews, you are already interested. I was there too. I am so happy I made the purchase. To quote my first time wearing it out, "I wish more men wore things with style. I love that jacket."
It is very comfortable. It rests well on your shoulders. It holds well in wind gusts. Even with the open front, you will be surprised with how warm this gets. I paired it with the green waterproof ranger cloak (which you should also look into if you haven't). Plenty warm for a cold winter day in New England.
The pockets are generously large and comfortable to reach into, even with the large sleeves. I recommend learning some different knots to tie the leather strappings as they will come loose with a standard shoe knot.
Make sure to get your measurements correct! I did and ended up going with the larger size, barely. Very glad I did though as it would have been slightly too small otherwise. This is a premium addition to your closet. Treat the investment with care and you will not be disappointed.
It fits me so well and it’s so comfy, it’s definitely my new favorite piece of clothing! The quality is so good, the color looks great and I’m looking forward to seeing it patina over the years I have it!
Absoluutely love it. Best duster on the market, i ordered a medium based on my personal measurements but what i did not take into account are the thicker clothes i wear underneath it. Really wish i could have exhabged it for a large, they were out of stock by the time i heard back from customer service (which was the following day still very fast). I am happy with medium still. Its the most expensive piece of clothing I own but totally worh it. When in doubt I would size up. I am 5’10 with an athletic build around 185 34 waistline if that helps anyone reading. If you are on the fence just do it!
I love my duster but the arms and shoulders are tight. I had other people try it on and it was the same. The shoulders and upper arms are tight. I figure in time it will get broken in well thats the hope.
